We have millions of writers across the world. Some work on literature, some on poems, some on YA fiction and some on social issues. Lots of genres and millions of minds involved in publishing a book which can offer readers some values. As a reader we also have some responsibilities to encourage all of them who create a completely different world from out of their minds. This is fascinating actually. So here I am today with my review on a book called The reason is you by author Nikita Singh.

My Review –
- This contemporary fiction book was very well written and well explained on why the events are happening and what is the impact of it on the protagonists lives.
- This book has mainly focused on mental stress and depression. What a person went through during those periods and how they behave and what we can do to save and make the person out of the trauma is the main gist of the story.
- The book is dark and I was horrified while reading it. Moves of Akriti were very unpredictable and somewhere I could sympathize with her but then I got extremely angry at her behavior. So I guess the author has done justice to the characters.
- It is a one time read for me. Because I was extremely disturbed after reading the book. Once you start reading, it will drag you to the vast ocean of mental stress, trauma, sadness and anger that you don’t have any control over and it can affect the personal lives of readers. So again the writing was superb and all the points the author had touched are really good. But to me this book is kind of a curse which took me almost 15 days to recover from.
Conclusion –
This book is not for a weak hearted person like me, who can have sympathy for all the living creatures in the world. So it was kind of torture to me. But the user can get overall knowledge on what depression is and how it can affect very common people. It doesn’t see whether you are a doctor or actor or a common man. Everyone should pay attention to their mental health and get treatment in time if required. It is very normal for our brain to get sick and we need to treat it as well the way we treat our other body parts.
