Time flies like anything. It feels like yesterday when you made your first memory which you could remember till today. It feels like yesterday when you started going to school. It feels like yesterday when you got married to the love of your life. It feels like yesterday when you had a baby of yourself. It feels like yesterday when you started pursuing your passion. It feels like yesterday when your kids grew up into beautiful adults. It feels like yesterday when you published your first book. It feels like yesterday when publishing a book was a piece of cake for you. It feels like yesterday when you retired. Alas, what a journey it was.
When you are celebrating your 100th birthday, with your beloved husband and family, I would like to congratulate you for achieving everything that you have ever dreamt of. A caring husband, loving family, successful career and what not. You have faced rejection with grace and made every negative situation into an opportunity to learn and you grew. You live your life peacefully and spread happiness among all who have known you for ages. You are the heart of your family.
I am writing this letter for you to read when you complete your century so that you could laugh your heart out as this letter will feel very childish. You must have grown a lot in the writing field. So this letter is like when a kid starts writing his/her first letter. But everyone has to start from zero right. I want you to feel proud when you read this and have a self reflection on how much you have improved yourself with each passing day.
Finally on your birthday, I wish you a very happy birthday. As a daughter, wife, mother and grandmother, you have played all kinds of roles harmoniously. You have shown your talent in the field of music, dance, writing, reading, academics and in the IT industry. You have led a successful and happy life and I am in love with you.
