Share a lesson you wish you had learned earlier in life.

It is never too late to learn something new in life. Regardless of age, gender, caste, community everybody should take opportunity and remain humble to learn and expand the boundary of knowledge. Academic knowledge or life experience – both are very powerful areas for growth and development and can help lead a happy and positive life.

I believe in learning from very tiny life like ants to larger life on earth. During my school days, I read a poem where Gautam Buddha listed the things he had learned from everyone in his lifetime. This poem made me contemplate life from a different perspective, even though I was just a child. It encouraged me to view things from a renewed and positive angle. I consider this a transformative lesson in my life.

Now while thinking about a lesson that I should have learned earlier, I wish I had commenced writing at a younger stage of my life. I wish I had spent time making random sentences and expanding my vocabulary, a pursuit I believe I started following rather late in life. Nevertheless, I don’t regret it. As each stage of life has its own level of priorities and preparations. I am glad that eventually I discovered my passion and started following it.

So the most important life lesson I have learned is that it’s never too late to start your passion and work diligently to achieve it. Taking a first smaller step is crucial to reach your desired destination. Pondering the outcome before even starting won’t be of any help. Set aside all doubts, have faith in yourself, and embark on the journey toward your happiness.
