Holidays are about creating cherished memories with loved ones and finding magic in the simplest moment.
Jeremiah Say
In a monotonous life, the thing that brings immense pleasure is none other than holidays. Some individuals feel very enthusiastic about spending quality time with family and friends, exploring different places, and indulging in the luxuries of life. Meanwhile, others prefer to rest and catch up on sleep, cherishing the only day they have for themselves. Holidays are precious and hard-to-come-by moments, particularly in today’s corporate world, and we should use them wisely.
As the week progresses, and I approach a holiday in my life, I carefully plan my day to make the most of it. If we have travel plans, I ensure that the itinerary includes a day or so of rest upon our return. When there are no such plans, I dedicate my time to my family. We spend our hours watching TV, spontaneously making future plans, and replenishing our groceries and vegetables for the upcoming week. We cook together and savor delicious meals. We read, engage in discussions about national issues, and debate a wide range of random topics.
So, if you were to inquire about how I spend my holidays, I would say that I celebrate them as if there were no tomorrow, waking up the next day without regrets. I hold onto and cherish these precious moments of leisure. They provide me with the time to reflect and reconsider our lives, offering a pause from the day-to-day grind. Holidays replenish me with newfound energy and inspire me to move forward stronger and sharper.
