Your thoughts trace the roads and directions, mentally mapping the path he’s taking from the railway station to your home. In just moments, that handsome face will grace your sight once more.
Anticipation painted a vivid scene in your mind, sending your stomach aflutter. Your heart yearned to run and embrace him endlessly. Glancing at the wall clock, its sluggishness tested your patience. Despite the urgency of your bladder, you remained on the veranda, unwilling to miss his arrival through the main gate and into your heart. Garden flowers poised to bloom with the first light, while birds embarked on their quest for sustenance.
