My city of dreams…

“Whatever good things we build end up building us.”

Jim Rohn

They say, “To live our life to the fullest, we human beings require 3 essentials – food, clothes, and shelter”. But I say, we need more than that. Undoubtedly, these necessities are essential, but along with that we need family, friends, neighbors, gatherings, festivals, technology, entertainment, communication, education, electricity, water and what not. In today’s modern era, anything less is like doom at your doorstep. The government is doing its best to provide everything we deserve to maintain good health and lead a life of wellness. We also do our fair share. We manage our own house, our surroundings, and our people. We care for our community and stay close to near and dear ones. We socialize a lot to maintain harmony.

Well, all these are positive parts of life. Like a coin has two sides, Our society has both positive and negative aspects. There is inequality, crime, and corruption. Some people have more privileges while others face hardships. Discrimination and reservations add to people’s troubles. Is this what we deserve?

My Dream City –

A place with greenery, tall houses, and beautiful landscapes.

Where we follow rules and regulations, stay away from crimes, providing less work to the keeper of justice.

where we have a fair education system, and everyone, regardless of their age, have equal opportunity to read, write, and gain knowledge.

A world of respect for all, regardless of differences.

Where negative emotions such as ego, greed, anger, sadness, jealousy, guilt, shame, envy, and fear do not exist in society.

A joyful place, where people live happily, enjoying prosperity and celebrating festivals and events.

In a seeming paradox, there appears to be a yearning for a “Rama Rajya” in the midst of the chaos and disillusionment of kali Yuga.
